Stress and a busy mind
When you can't switch off, reflexology helps calm the nervous system and brings you back into a state of rest.
Reflexology by Katy Symons
Gentle, person-centred foot and hand reflexology to ease stress, release tension and help your body find its natural balance again.
Why reflexology?
People come to reflexology for many reasons. Some want support with something specific. Others simply want an hour where someone else takes care of them.
When you can't switch off, reflexology helps calm the nervous system and brings you back into a state of rest.
Deep relaxation during a session can make it easier to unwind in the evenings. Many clients say they sleep better afterwards.
Gentle, focused pressure helps release the physical tension that builds up in the neck, shoulders and head.
A calm space, a caring listener and time to breathe. Reflexology supports your emotional wellbeing as well as your physical health.
If you live with arthritis, eczema, asthma or migraines, reflexology can offer comfort and relaxation alongside the care you already receive.
No reason needed. Reflexology is a deeply restful treat, and a good way to look after yourself before you run low.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy. It does not diagnose or cure illness and is not a replacement for medical treatment. Please keep seeing your GP or specialist for any health concerns.
How it works
Reflexology is rooted in ancient healing traditions. It works on the idea that points on the feet and hands correspond, through the nervous system, to the organs and systems of the body.
By applying gentle pressure and intention to these reflex points, I aim to relieve stress, tension and congestion and encourage the body's own balance, known as homeostasis.
It's a calm, clothed treatment. You only remove your shoes and socks, then relax in a reclining chair.
